BABY!!

We are having a BABY!!

As you can tell by the blue...... we are having a BOY. I am currently starting 26 weeks of pregnancy and loving it. This pregnancy has been a little different from my first. With Makena I had a lot of heartburn and headaches. This time I have felt sick (at the beginning), I am tired a lot more and I feel like time is going by faster (probably because I am busy with Makena and don't have time to just sit around and think about it all the time). Both pregnancy's I have not thrown up and I am so grateful.

Shea is thrilled that we are adding a new addition to our family.  Before we found out what we were having he would always joke and say that he only makes boys and that is all we will ever have but deep down he wanted a girl. He said that because of Makena and how much he loves her and how much fun they have together he couldn't think of having a boy (that is so cute :)) but he is still happy it's a boy.

Makena loves that she is going to be a big sister.  She is always kissing , hugging, talking, singing  and feeling my tummy. Her favorite part is when she feels the baby move.  Makena is going to be a great big sister and helper. We are super excited and can not wait for him to get here.

Green Bluff

This month we went to Green Bluff as a family. It is a really neat place. The theme at Green Bluff changes year round depending on what time of the year it is. So since it is Halloween/Thanksgiving we got to walk through a pumpkin patch, see a pumpkin chunk-in (they launch a pumpkin in the air and try to hit a target 1500 feet away), find our way through a hay maze, see some animals and Makena got to have a pony ride and meet the Pumpkin Princess. It was a full day of entertainment.

Preschool & Gymnastics

The beginning of September Makena started Preschool and Gymnastics. She decided to try gymnastics instead of dance this fall. It is so crazy to think that she is already in preschool, she is growing up so fast. Makena LOVES her teacher and the new friends she has made. She goes three days a week and is learning so much. She can write her name, spell her name, can recognize and write the numbers and letters. I enjoy volunteering to go on field trips and helping out in her class. This week she gets to bring the snack for her class, Makena is super excited. She also likes show-n-tell they do every Thursday.

G&G Adams Visit :)

Grandma and Grandpa Adams came to visit us in Spokane and we did a lot of fun things. Walks, made cookies, Pig out in the park, Picnic, swimming and building sand castles at lake Coeur d alene. We had a blast and it was great to have my mom's help getting things unpacked and spending time with them. Makena had fun and did not want them to leave.

Twin Cousins!!

On August 15 2012 two handsome baby boys were born to Lynette (my sister) and Brett (my brother in-law) They named the boys Wesley and Easton, they are soooo cute. We went to visit them in the hospital and Makena was so happy and excited to hold Wesley, she would give him kisses and keep saying how cute he was. We didn't get to see Easton that much because he had to stay in the nursery. We were lucky to see the babies the day they were born and the next morning because we had to leave for Spokane so Shea could get to school on time. We went back to visit about a monh or so after they were born and Makena is such a great helper feeding them :) We love them so very much and wish we lived closer so we could see everyone more.

Hiking

During the summer we went on a family hike up to Horse Tail Falls, Makena did a great job keeping up with us. We all had fun and it was nice to do the hike as a family. Once we reached the waterfalls we took a break and ate some lunch and played in the water. Makena would find big rocks and throw them in to the water, she thought it was the funniest thing ever :)
